#VOCALIGN PRO DEMO MANUAL#
I'm still learning it and some of the stuff is not covered in manual but if you need to quickly align dubs I recon vocaling project would do the job. I work mostly with rap artists so I have to align a lot of takes dubs etc every single day.

I started renting revoice pro (after 4th rental you get to keep license). I would say either go with vocalign project or choose revoice pro. I don't know the difference in the versions but 700 dollars was a small price to pay for the amount of time it's saved me. Highlight the source, hit the capture button, select dub, highlight the track to be "vocaligned", hit capture, hit align, and process.takes about 10 seconds.and it's 100% what you were looking for about 90-95% of the time. The amount of time I spent editing BVs has gone from a good hour or more.to about 5 minutes.

I got vocalign pro about 4-5 months ago, and in that time has paid for itself many many many many times over. Has ayone tried using this plug to align drum samples? Sound Replacer is always a little off. $300), what's the differance between the two? The product description doesn't really go into detail. First of all, have any of you used Vocalign? How do you like it?Īs far as the two different versions go (Pro & Project), which one would you recomend? Other than price ($700 vs. I spend alot of time editing vocal dubs trying to get them to match, hopefully this plug will save me alot of time. Hopefully you understand what I'm talking about I will try to include pictures later today or this weekend.I'm considering purchasing Vocalign.

Please see the VA manual for how to align sync points.Īlso highly suggest a test song with you just talking into tracks 1234 etc. If there is you need to slice the event just before the vocals.Ĥ) if the guide track often the lead vocal which might be singing the entire verse and the double track which is often just back up singing phrases here and there then additional slicing will be needed an additional VAs applied to those events.ĥ) if the double track is just missing a word or two then manually adjusting the start and Sync points from with in the plug-in will usually assist the alignment. Check to see if there is not a lot of blank space before each vocal. Please see the how to include graphics and how to fix problem links in my signature for link to tools.ģ) The key to alignments is the exact start of both events in line with each other. I will eventually do a training video on the harder situations or at least a guide book.Īnswering from my phone so initial response will be just a few more questions.ġ) as soon as you drag the dub track it should auto process everything so if you do not see that it is getting confused on sync points.Ģ) screen shots would help dramatically. I followed the manual and everything I could find on the net

Thank you for replying, I appreciaye all your knowledge you have shared over the years.ġ) I select the two vocal parts I was synced upĢ) right click and select "edit with Vocalign"ģ) Drag the main vocal part into the top sectionĤ) I then Drag the other part that I want synced up with the main vocal, to the bottom window as instructedĦ) I see nothing happens, then I change the "intensity" of detection or whatever that section does to maximum once I've allready tried all the other options
